Claire qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 1971 having graduated from Glasgow University. She subsequently qualified as solicitor in England and Wales in 1982. She practised as an Assistant Solicitor for many years with Mischcon de Reya and then with Herbert Oppenheimer Nathan van Dyke joining Warner & Richardson in 1982. Claire retired as a Partner in April 2011 but continues her valuable contribution to the firm as a Consultant.
Claire specialises in Probate, Will drafting, Receivership and general Elderly Client Law.
She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Women Solicitors and has spoken at seminars on her area of law.
Claire has four adult sons and her spare time is taken up with her family when they come home, gardening, reading and yoga. Holidays are spent traveling to her holiday house in Brittany and afar.
