Consultant
Humphrey spent 16 years in the Royal Navy as a Seaman Officer, serving in a variety of jobs both afloat and ashore. He qualified as a solicitor on leaving the Navy and began work with the large city firm of Herbert Smith & Co.
He moved to Warner & Richardson in 1974 and after 12 years as a non-contentious generalist he focused on Private Client work dealing mainly with Trusts, taxation, Wills and Probate.
He was Senior Partner from 1990 to 1999 and since then he has been a Consultant, now working one day a week.
Humphrey was Clerk to the General Commissioner of Income Tax for Winchester and he is a Director of the Winchester Housing Trust. He was also President of the Alresford Show for 2007.
